Chapter One
Rachel Gets Kidnapped
Rachel smiled as she snuggled up to Jon, who put his arm round her. They had been dating for 2 months, and things were going better with Jon than when Rach had been with Jez. They were both obviosuly happy, the band knew, their management knew, and the public knew. "Sooo...what do you want to do then?" Jon asked, raising his eyebrows seductively down at Rachel, who giggled. "Okay Jon, ok, can I just get a drink first?" she questioned. He nodded in agreement. Rachel climbed out of the bed and made her way through the quiet flat into the dark kitchen. She started to open the fridge when she heard a deep male voice behind her growl, "Don't scream and you won't get hurt!" He held a gun to her head with a gloved hand, covering her mouth with his other hand. Rachel could do nothing but let him push her out of the flat through the back door.
Rachel tried her best to wriggle out of the man's grip. Impossible, of course, as he held a death grip on her. He carried her down the road and to a grey car parked there. Practically throwing her into the car, he jumped into the drivers' seat and tore away at top speed. Rachel tried to scream but the man had put a hankerchief over her mouth, so she couldn't. Rachel felt tears come to her eyes as fear ripped through her
like a hot arrow. She wanted to be back with the other S Clubbers, safe. She wanted to be in Jon's arms. Having absolutely no idea where she was being taken, she couldn't call Jo. Not that she actually had her mobile with her. Craning her neck to look out the window, all she saw was darkness, darkness, and wait! No, nevermind, it's darkness as well. Curling up, she knew that there was nothing to do but sit here. She fell asleep slowly, terrified.
Rachel woke up about an hour later, realizing that she was no longer in the car, but in a cold, dreary, dark room in some strange place. Beginning to shiver from the cold, she scooted into a more comfortable position. Just as she was doing this, the door on the other side of the dark room opened, and Rachel's captor entered. Saunting over to where she was sitting, he kneeled down in front of her. "Rach...", he stroked her cheek with his gloved hand, and Rachel looked through his mask at his dark eyes. She recognized them at once.
"Jeremy?" she whispered.
"Rach...", Jeremy said again, softly stroking her face. "Please, Rach, just give me another chance, please...I'll do anything. I still love you."
"No....", Rachel shook her head. "I can't, I'm...I'm in love with Jon," she assured him.
**Meanwhile**
Jon shook his head, wondering what the hell was taking Rachel so long. "I swear, that girl's not that smart, but she DOES know where the kitchen is." he thought to himself, going down the stairs to look for her. What he saw shocked and terrified him. On the floor was a broken glass, it's pieces all over the place. The open water pitcher was lying on its side, water all over the floor around it, but no sign of Rachel. Jon desperately searched the flat for her, but after seeing the forced open back door, made a call to the other S Clubbers and the cops.
Jon paced back and forth desperately while the cops were investigating the scene in the kitchen. The other S Clubbers were sitting around in the room either, sleeping, eating, chatting, or in Jo's case, fidgeting. AT that moment the lieutenant stepped out of the kitchen. The S Clubber's stopped whatever they were doing and snapped to attention. Lt. White sighed and questioned, "Well, there's absolutely no foot or fingerprints left behind. We...well, can I talk to one of you kids in private?"
Jo jumped up before Jon could and went over to White. After a small hesitation, Lt. White began, "We think that, with no evidence, and no emergency calls from the victim and since she's been gone for awhile, there's well, a slim to none chance she's still alive."
"WHAT!" Jon, who had inched closer so he could hear, yelled, making everyone jump. He looked at Jo. "You think she's dead, don't you?"
"Well....," Jo trailed off, even though she hoped Rachel wasn't dead, she had to agree with the Lt, but she didn't want to say that to Jon's face.
Jon turned to the S Clubbers. "You guys do too, don't you?" When the others looked anywhere but at Jon, he glared at Jo. "You're her best mate Jo and you-" Jon turned to the others, "-are all like her siblings! How could you guys, of all people, think she's DEAD!"
*******Meanwhile*******
Rachel threw up what was left in her stomach and cried more. She didn't know how long she was there but she wanted to be out. Jez had been occasionally bringing food into the room for her, but it was usually soggy, and she never ate it anyways. She used all the strength she had left to change her sitting positions. Right now, Jez had gone out somewhere, but Rach didn't much care where. She just wanted to be home with Jon. After fidgeting and failing to untie the ropes that bound her wrists, she fell into an uncomfortable and restless sleep. Little did she know what would happen the next day...
